Facial Gua Sha

The Face Map

Tap a zone to see the stroke direction, the pressure, and what that area is said to reflect in Chinese medicine. Your face has a map. This is it.

Pick a zone

Every area of the face gets its own stroke. Tap a zone on the illustration and this panel will show you the direction, the pressure, and the Chinese medicine story behind it.

Before you start: clean face, a few drops of facial oil, and hold the skin gently taut with your free hand. The tool should glide, never drag.

When to skip it

Do not use gua sha over broken skin, active breakouts, rashes, sunburn, or bruising. If you have recently had injectables, filler, or a cosmetic procedure, ask your provider how long to wait before resuming. When in doubt, ask. That is what we are here for.
